I wanted to do this whole ten before the end thing but I sat down with myself and realised there is no way I will finish 10 books before the end of the year with all my other hobbies and… well, life. So I brought it down to five.

And with a physical TBR of ten books, it was not very hard to choose.

First one is a book I actually don’t own yet, but it is the pick of a bookclub I am part of for the coming two months. And it is Light of Other Days by Arthur C. Clarke. Pretty fun sci-fi concept that explores what would happen if human privacy was to be completely abolished. Quite curious.

The second one is Princess’ Knight by Cait Jacobs. I yapped about this one in my birthday book haul. But this basically sound like Legally Blonde in medieval times, and, you know, both people on this cover are way too hot for their own good.

Third we have a french book that I actually started a few weeks ago but I was too busy and felt like I could not give this book the attention it deserved so I paused it. It is Brasaskoven by Alice Garnier Agren. This is a fantasy novel inspired by north mythology, which I have not read about in a minute and it promises to be amazing.

Fourth is Intermezzo by Sally Rooney. This is the book that has been on my TBR the longest. I need to be in a very particular mood for Rooney’s novel so I have been putting it off times and again but I feel like it is finally time to dive into it. I actually have no clue what this is about so I’m afraid I cannot really enlighten you on this part.

And finally we have The Beautiful by Renee Adhied. I need more fangs. More vampires. I also have book two under my hand so if I feel the urge, I can continue the series right away. I also don’t really know what this book is about apart from the fact it takes place in New Orleans in the 19th century and it has vampires.
